- ONLINE MARKETING
10.1 DoubleClick by Google
This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("DoubleClick"). DoubleClick uses cookies to display relevant ads to users and improve the performance of campaigns.
Google reserves the right to show the same ads multiple times. Through a cookie ID, Google records which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being shown repeatedly. The processing of this is based on our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our website according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Additionally, DoubleClick can register so-called conversions using cookie IDs that relate to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser’s website with the same browser and makes a purchase there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain personal information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google’s server. We have no influence on the extent and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you to the best of our knowledge: By integrating DoubleClick, Google receives information that you have visited the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider learns and stores your IP address.
If you want to refuse to participate in this tracking process, you can disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com, https://www.google.de/settings/ads, whereby this setting is deleted when you remove your cookies. Alternatively, you can inform yourself at the Digital Advertising Alliance on the website www.aboutads.info about setting cookies and adjust your settings accordingly. Finally, you can set your browser to be informed about the placement of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them or to refuse cookies for certain cases or in general. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are concerning the data from the advertising campaigns. We aim to show you ads that are interesting for you, make our website more appealing to you, and ensure a fair calculation of advertising costs.
The cookie for Conversion Tracking is set when a user clicks on an advertisement enabled by Google AdWords. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer system. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and do not serve for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can see that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked
across the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained through the Conversion Cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for Conversion Tracking. The customers are shown the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were redirected to a page equipped with a Conversion Tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that would enable personal identification of users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can block the cookie for Google Conversion Tracking via your internet browser under user settings. In such exceptional cases, this processing is carried out based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.
On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide other services related to website and internet usage to us.
